500 new HIV cases in the Philippines last November 2014 alone.

Latest DOH report reveals that there were 492 new cases of HIV last November alone including 40 full blown AIDS and 10 deaths. This was 28% higher than the cases recorded a year before. The predominant age group in the recent statistics are male having sex with male ages 15-24 living in the National Capital Region, Gegion 4, 11 and 2 according to the DOH.
