Core Tests HIV Test Kit is the world’s most advanced at-home HIV testing and screening kit, delivering 100% sensitivity* in detecting the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). A person infected with HIV will have HIV-1 and/or HIV-2 antibodies in their oral mucosal exudate*. These proteins are produced by the body in response to an HIV infection. The test cassette operates on the principle of a membrane strip pre-coated with recombinant capture proteins sensitive to both HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies in the test line. The IgG colloidal gold conjugate, along with the specimen, migrates chromatographically along the membrane to the test region. This interaction forms a visible line as an antigen-antibody particle complex, enabling a rapid, noninvasive test with flawless sensitivity and exceptional specificity*.

To ensure the integrity and reliability of the diagnostic process, this kit includes a built-in quality control system. A mandatory line in the control area verifies the proper performance of the test, further enhancing its accuracy and reliability.
